My love of music started at the age of 5 when my parents brought me to my first piano lesson. I loved it, and soon developed an interest in the cello alongside one in piano. After 12 years of daily practice, I have now achieved my ARCT Performers diploma in both Piano and Cello, a Lessentiate and a Fellowship from the London College of Music (LLCM, FLCM) as well as numerous awards and final round appearances. I currently sit in the principal chair of the Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra's cello section and look forward to performing Movement 1 of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.3 with the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra. I could never live without music, as it fills the holes in my logical thinking with beauty and colour, unperceivable in any other way.

Beginning at the age of 5, for the last 12 years I have been participating in masterclasses, chamber groups, competitions and concerts around the world. I have performed in Canada, the USA, Italy, Austria, France, Spain and Luxembourg. I hold an Performing Artists diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music (ARCT), a Licentiate of the London College of Music (LLCM) as well a Fellowship from the London College of music (FLCM). I am now working on a CD including Chopin's 4 ballades and will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto. I released my first recording titled "A First Chapter" earlier in the falll of 2019.

The year after I started piano, I began playing the cello. My mother's original intention was to sign me up for the cello group class at the Vancouver Academy of Music when I showed interest in the cello at a Vancouver Symphony Orchestra concert when I was 3. Since then I have taken part in Chamber Music and Orchestra (More detailed in the extracurricular section). I am now working on the Chopin and Franck Cello Sonatas to hopefully feature them on my upcoming CD with the four ballades.
